We believe children have the right to love, security, shelter, health and education. Orphamo equips the children and youth in need with skills to become socially integrated, responsible and contributing members of society.

Mission

When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. When you beat the olives from your trees, do not go over the branches a second time. Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow. When you harvest the grapes in your vineyard, do not go over the vines again. Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow.

ORPHAMO

Orphanage / Home               Make Over

CBS (Central Bureau of Statistics) stated that 60 million Indonesian children aged less than 5 years – as many as 2.15 million of them are accommodated in orphanages and most likely to have the potential to increase more orphans in the future. An important role in shaping one’s character, physical growth and health started from their environment – hence their home. Although the environment has an important role in a person’s life, and not everyone can live in a good environment – which the majority of them live in an orphanage.

It is heartbreaking to know that most people have a prejudice point of view towards an orphanage itself, which can cause damage to an orphan’s self image and identity. It is a sorrow for those orphans who have great potentials who feels inferior and are not able to achieve their goals.

That said, Orphamo was moved and are willing to hopefully be a blessing to these orphans and country by establishing the Orphamo Foundation which aims to ensure the physical condition and spiritual of the orphans.
